Great for a snowmobile or mini 2 stroke race car but IDK about a car. You could have endless amounts of adjustment though. I wonder how big the drive belt is? Funny you posted this since I have been doing a ton of research on my sled's CVT for this winter.

saturn put them in the ION and VUE with the 2.2l 4cyl, we have to rebuild them about 30000 miles. them belt will brake and trash the trans, i can take some pics of the case cover that the belt is on if you want to see one, the belt is made of lots of little metal bowties

Dodge has them in the Caliber. CVT is the only tranny that gives you the best gear ratio at any speed. Polaris started putting them in snowmobile and atvs since at least 1985. Now every automatic atv is a cvt except for the Honda auto and Kubota hydrostatic. It is a good design if adequate for the power put in it.

I absolutely hate it haha that would bother me to no end. Cool that theres no power loss...

and Bill his caption says "closed track... (blah blah).. theres an upgrade at the track where I hit 100 so it slowed me down..." haha douche...

nope not at all.. The new Nissan Altimas also have them, I raced a 3.5SE V6 on the Hwy from about 65mph and i put at least 4-5 trucks on him by 100
