there was a Judge there with a turboed 6.0 a 33 ford car with a turbod 5.3 didn't get shots of them tho

Looks like the LS swaps are standard these days. Nice to see the new technology in the old bodies... But honestly the more I see these done I wonder how many nice original powerplants were taken out to make room for something that's honestly pretty ugly and industrial looking in a vehicle with nice curves and lines...

Not saying I dislike any of them, they are all sexy in their own ways for sure but sometimes I'm a bit of a purist... Lol

 

I agree with you on being Pure, but those were more just rat rods. The very nice cars all had original power

the green ford is actually a 36 and has a rear mount turbo in the trunk and was also done by Hales Speed Shop

pretty much anything they touch they put a LS motor in.

 

the wagon is a 60 Parkwood that belongs to my friend John. He and I built that car two years ago.

I own the Judge and we just finished it at 1 am Friday morning before good guys

Nathan Hale own's Hale's Speed Shop in Lewisville and they built the white 65 ish ford truck, the gold 49 Chevy truck, and the green 39

side note.. the judge isn't real so no worries on pulling a real judge apart for this swap

we will all be at the Round Up this weekend in Austin, (the GTO will be parked outside since its too new )

the LS swap is 100% the way to go to make good reliable power.

i wanted to go but was out of town. looks like there was a lot of nice stuff there like there always is
