First round with comp=waste of time. Guy was a complete douche and unwilling to help me unless I knew what the installed height was...soo...what's the recommended install height on a new 918?

I hate to tell you this, but there is a local guy here with a pro street car and he had comp springs (not sure which one's) but one of them broke when they were under a guarantee from comp. Needless to say it dropped the valve and took out a 20K$ Motor. He called them up and they refused to do anything about it, they wouldnt even replace the springs, lifter's, seals....etc. etc. Everything was comp components and they wouldnt do anything, even though they were supposively under a "guarantee"

no problems with the cams to speak of....just the other valvetrain components
