I got a lot of little stuff but the thing I was most excited about was my brother and I got my dad an LS1 to put in his 2000 ecsb truck and we helped him install it. Got it all put in and fired up on Christmas Eve. Lets just say it was a large improvement over the 210k mile 4.8

Yea, I would say it's good. It's not great, but good. If you are looking for something like Forza 3 or 4, than you will be dissapointed. Some of the races are difficult, but most are fairly easy. There aren't as many options for cars or the ability to tweak them, like in 3 and 4. Those are more like simulation games where this is just a drive around and have fun kind of game.

Bone stock 4L60e but he drives like a grandpa even though he isn't one quite yet....... I am not sure on the weight difference, I wasn't allowed to drive it much once he got behind the wheel. But I have heard several people say they felt an improvement in handling. I was just going to get him a 5.3 but found this LS1 for the same price so why not. I mainly just want it to pull hills without having to downshift and to pull his boat more easily. I think we acomplished that
