well thank you!

i was skinny dipping when i caught these hogs. and let me tell you, it hurt!

seriously though, i have a small canal by my house where i cast net my bait. i had a few finger mullet and a good bit of live shrimp last night. they hit the live finger mullet, flounder hit the shrimp.

they really surprised me though, i was on a muddy sandbar, in about 3-4 feet of water when i caught these.. you wouldnt think fish that big would be in water that shallow, but they were. they should be good on the grill tonight!

live bait, ohhh yeah! Isn't using shrimp to catch flounder kind of like using gold to make silver What kind of flounder do you get there?

Here we get Halibut (10-25lbs) and a variety of sole. The "sandabs" are very small flounder found in shallow sandy bottom but are absolutely yummy. I need to go fishing!

here is a nicer flounder i got a few weeks ago, along with a nice triple tail, and a 7 lb speckled trout. i gigged all these at night out of my boat. ended up with 6 flounder, tripletail, and a big speck that night.
