I'll be going to vegas next month, tagging along with a friend who's doing trade shows and training, so for 3 days I'll be on my own. So I'm looking for some interesting stuff to do while there, mostly involving cars.

I've been to the strip and done touristy **** a bunch of times, so I'm just looking for suggestions to add to my list I've already got. Anything like car shows, collections, museums, race shops that offer tours (I know LEP is in vegas, not sure if it's worth checking out or not), etc.

I'm staying in north LV as well.

So far here's what I've come up with:

Carrol Shelby museum/tour of Shelby American;
LVMS (There's an NHRA divisional event that weekend, so I'm hoping for a good car count);
Cars and Coffee on the saturday morning;
The Car Collections at Imperial Palace.

Anything else I should include?

And is there anything to do or see at Nellis AFB?
