I'm thinking in the next couple of years! I might hang up the ole hat for something were I can be home everynight! I love my days off, but 14 days away from the family is just to long!

Im sitting on a well near Pearsall, Tx as we speak. You can call my job a lot of things: Surface Logging Tech, Wellsite Hydrocarbons Analyst, Etc. Most just know me as the mudlogger. I went to school for 5 years for a B.S. in Geology and THIS is all it got me. I'd probably make more money being a roughneck. I can't get back to grad school fast enough.

I've done 2 years in natural gas plants 1 year field operator in light oil and 1 year project consultant doing tank cleaning in refineries now I'm back to field operations in polymer injection in the oil sands
