Did you burn the ISO as a file or as the actual image?

In your burning software did you do data or did you choose to Burn Image.

i went right click - send to disk. It wasn't my computer so I wasn't going to download burning software. I guess burning it as data made it unable to run?

I'm a noob at this.

Yea. it's more than likely burning it as a file. As if you put it on a flash drive or something.
It has to be burned as an image. Now that you have it at home just use your PC to do it. Just copy it off the DVD onto your PC and use some burning software.
