Default boxers fracture??

Anyone ever had a broken knuckle or what they call a boxers fracture? A shitty coil spring compressor blew up and hit my hand today and I think it broke my pinky knuckle. I don't want to go to the doctor cuz I don't have insurance. Anyone else had this and just let it heal?

Lucky you didn't kill yourself man, those coil springs are very dangerous.

I can move it just fine, and the pain isn't hardly anything.

My GF is a nurse and she said it's a boxers fracture and I'll live

You should live, if you can't stand the pain by Tuesday go see a Dr. Otherwise it should heal up, I did a similar thing while out at sea many years ago. It healed up, throbs a little in the winter but I lived.

If you can move it, it isn't hurting you so bad you can't think, roll with it. I have broke my knuckles many times.. It will heal up. However you might have pain in it for a good while.. Broke my thumb one time, it was sore for 5 months

I did that pretty bad from a fight..I had to have it set and casted...the doc wanted to put in pins but I did not let him...As a result the left side of my hands slopes off (no knuckle)...Its not that big of a deal but you know when the weather changes if you know what I mean...Personally I'd get it looked at
