Actually I appreciate the offer. I was planning on hitting you up with some help as thing progressed actually. I was thinking about the exhaust yesterday...funny you should mention it.
I'm not sure on how extravegant I'm gonna make it. It's gonna be a purely street car that I might take road racing, at least that's the plan shannon and I were discussing. Not interested in making it a drag car.
Due to the added weight of the v8 I'm not sure how well it would handle so I was thinking about ripping out the rear seats and making it mid engine...
Now that would be unique! I can assure you I'm not gonna be using the back seats so...Too early to tell.

Talked to rex today and he suggested staying with just boring it out to 5.7L and not stroking it. we'll see how it goes and budget and all. Not going over my budge this time! lol

The shorter crank will be a better match for a car that is lighter weight, sees more RPM and doesn't need the grunt down low like the trucks. The local guy used a single 3" exhaust on his car, that should be good for 400-500hp I would think. He built the headers on his also. Look into doing an engine set back and leave it in the front of the car still. If you are not afraid of hacking the firewall and still have enough footroom shove the engine as far back as you can. Are you planning to use a 6sp?

Here is a build that might give you some ideas. Its a LS2 in a RX7. Pretty long, but LOTS of pics! Some REALLY nice work too!
