Nobody has a shorter patience than me, trust me, I can relate. I actually checked pricing on Amazon before purchasing and the Sears deal had it beat by $250! I picked it up for $1350 +tax, of course. Amazon was $1600, Fry's was ~$2600 for comparison.

Good deal Bill, nice tube...man you've got ***** to go out on Black Friday though. I had to work (as I always do), but Black Friday doesn't really apply to the Lexus dealership. Luckily there was no traffic on my way to work, and I took back roads all of the way home, since my normal ride goes right through mall central. The next month is going to suck on my ride home as Rt. 4 normally sucks, but is a total mess this time of year. Gonna have to leave work a half hour early on the days that I pick up my daughter from day care or I won't make it during their normal operating hours, and they charge you extra when they stay open late waiting for you

Awesome game! Unlike Phantom, I don't have a PS3. I was told if I wanted GT5, I'd need to upgrade to a PS3. I don't see that happening, since I can't remember the last time I picked up my PS2. I'll play it for a week, then set it down for months. Need for Speed is my favorite game & probably still in the console.

I had to work on "Suicide Friday", not Black Friday as a person in retail called it knowing full well of the impending doom. I hate mall crowds & in general, everyone walks too slow. I would need a snow plow to drive thru all the people in my way.

Made it out to Fry's for a smoking deal on a new receiver to put together a home theater again since I now have a 60" TV.
I heard Amazon was matching any advertised Black Friday deals...
and then of course you have Cyber Monday tomorrow!

I made it to Home Depot for the Pre-Lit tree and that was it. Home Depot wasn't bad at all, I walked in got the tree was second in line at the register and walked out. Maybe 5 minutes total tops....
