Big Bend Open Road Race
Is anybody here taking part in it or know anybody that is???
The race is basically a run down a hwy here in west tx..The road is 60 miles and last years winner did each leg (there and back) in 21 minute's with an average speed of 166 mph in a 65 corvair...

The only reason i know about this thing is im stuck out here workin at a new co2 plant

CA too? NV has somethin like that too, at least they used to. IIRC, it's the Silver State.
This stuff isn't exactly cheap, but it'd sure be fun!

Vehicle setup has to be built for endurance / durability like NASCAR, not quick sprint like a drag race. I'd love to do this 1 day.
