Hey guys ive been gone for sometime I regretfully sold my SS Silverado January last year and have been missing a truck so much that I am looking at another truck its a 2001 Silverado Ext Cab 5.3 z71offroad with 95k for $8995. Havent seen it in person yet but they alot of pictures and it looks well taken care of. It also has tan heated leather. Is there anything that I should look for in particular as far as problems? Completly untouched no tint intake or exhaust.

Since I sold my SS I bought a 02 Grand Prix GT with a 3.8 v6 sedan nicely equiped im just not happy I miss a truck so much

 

On an older truck, front suspension wear components will always be a concern, ball joints, tie rods, misc bushings etc. Look for fluid leaks and check the condition of the fluids. Front tires will show alignment issues I there are any and they haven't kept the tires rotated. Rear brake pads always take a **** on the older trucks prematurely for some reason. Look for noises in the engine/trans/drivetrain. Make sure the transfer case shifts correctly and the front diff engages properly. There's a few things off the top of my head... Honestly unless its a very low mile, well optioned, spotless truck that asking price is a bit high IMO.
