ok guys, ill go to turn my truck on sometimes, and nothing will happen for a minute or so. i have full electrical power, can hear the battery, but my truck wont start no matter how many times i turn the key for a few minutes. my voltage is at 13 volts, so i know i have enough power to crank. is it time to replace my starter?

 

Is it just a ticking sound when you go to start, or is the engine actually turning over but not firing?

 

neither, NOTHING happens. all my electrical comes to life, headlights, radio, AC, ect ect, just nothing happens

 

Sounds like what mine is doing off and on due to the starter haveing a dead spot. On mine I can have someone hold the key forwrad and hit the starter and it will crank.
