Beat me to it! The first thing I thought was, send the video footage to "Scarred". At least that way he will get something for his pain and suffering.
Seriously though, I hope he fully recovers.

I agree with everyones statements about the helmet, any dumbass should know better than to try that stuff without one. But I was kinda disappointed with the time the EMTs got there. The hospital was only 3 blocks away, traffic could have been a factor but its usually not a problem in that area.

By watching the video it was just about six minutes from the time he whacked his melon until the EMT's showed up. Lets take into consideration first someone had to call 911. I'm thinking that was about a minute by the time they got through. Then they had to dispatch the ambulance, which takes a call from 911 to the firehouse to send them, another minute or so. If in fact that they were at the hospital when they got the call, I would have to think that by the time a good 3 minutes had passed. I think normal response time is about 3-5 minutes after being dispatched. I could be wrong but it seemed pretty reasonable to me. I made my son watch watch the video to show him an example of what happens when you don't wear your helmet. He promised he would never do something that stupid. My response until you do! Hope everything goes well for your buddy. Sorry again if I sound like I'm being a dick. **** like this pisses me off. I hate having to sound like a parent. Vince
