It's alot lighter compared to the one you posted which is why it puts out more power gains.
The one you posted is heavier than a stock pulley.
The ASP weighs a decent bit less than the stocker.
ahhh, actually I weighted the pulley and it only weight .5-1 pound more than the stocker... I don't know what thats worth, but that is what it weighed..

the power bond pulley is much heavier than the asp. i think it takes mmore rotating mass to move the power bond (wich u loss power) than the asp pulley

i have had bad experiences from asp when i make my order of pulleys i ususally order about 40 sets 20 crank only and 20 crank and alternator (for chevy trucks 99-08) and it ususally takes about 6-8 weeks, they are not backordered what is happening with asp is that they now make per order so they never have the truck pulleys in stock they make them for buisness as they order them

I was wondering about the MotoBlue Underdrive pulley? I would post a link on here but its not a sponsor vendor, sooo. But the pic looks similar to ASP, was just wondering if anyone has used or tried it versus the ASP or even Powerbond Pullies????

EDIT: Was also looking and looks as though SLP is now offering an Underdrive Pulley for our trucks, that look similar to the ASP design too, belt lengths are the same as the ASP uses. Looks to be a pretty nice piece itself.

Default Powerbond

The fact of a lose of power would not be correct I did a dyno test on my personal truck with the powerbond and at the rear tire picked up 5hp and 7ft lbs of torque.....If you have questions feel free to call me......

Like I said I felt a gain! I like the pulley it is a very nice piece, I have no complaints.... Plus purchasing from SDPC supports a board sponser!

I don't think anyone said the pulley you are running would cause a loss of power.
I simply said that it's heavier than a stock pulley and the ASP is fairly light roughly 4lbs lighter than a stock crank pulley thus it gets more power over the powerbond.
End result the powerbond is lb for lb crap vs a ASP.

I didn't say it weighed a ton more than a stocker just that it is in fact heavier.
The ASP is 4lbs lighter than a stock pulley so your at 4.5-5lbs lighter vs the powerbond. This is basically dead weight your motor is turning for no reason really.
The OP asked if other pulleys out there could give him as much power as the ASP and the end result is NO.

Honestly the extra 4 pounds on a rotating assembly that is no more that 12" in diameter translates into maybe 4-5hp max...

Actually the according to the ASP website it weighs 8 pounds.... I just weighed my stock pulley and it weighs 9 pounds, the Powerbound pulley weighed 9.5-10 pounds.... So that translates into 1.5-2 pounds difference... Yes there is a hp gain but would you even notice....

I weighed all three of em on the same scale and that is how it panned out. Scale could always be wrong though.
End result is more rotaiting mass = less power. Does not matter how you dice it.
Hell goin to e-fans gives more power right. That fan setup only weighs like 4-5lbs total and you get a nice gain by lossing it. Most guys gets about 3 tenths from goin to e-fans.
So yeah i think even a 1-1.5lb differance would be enough for me to never buy the powerbond.
Will you feel it SOTP maybe maybe not but the ET at the track is what matters the most not how much of a gain i can feel.

Plus if i'm doin mods for more power i'd like to get that extra 4-5hp.
