after reading the entire 15-pages, all i have to say is that i'm an American born and raised, speak english and spanish, and pay taxes like any other poor bastard in america. if you go to another country, learn their language, and get in legally I learned spanish because i want to study abroad in Spain.

and about illegals sending money back to mexico,,,,, come one now, how much money do you really think they are sending back? you all know they get paid very poorly, plus they still have to survive here paying rent, utitilites, food.. etc...? so do yall really think they are sending all this money back? i know cause i have plenty of family here and they are not here to send money back they are here to have a better life for them and their families... and bullshit on they dont pay taxes.... yall only here one side of the storys.... employers do take the taxes away (supposely) but it is them that are really robbing the country, shouldnt they go after the employers and really fine them first? like i said yall get side tracked too easy off bullshit like this.......

I hate to say it, but I totally agree with you. Outside of a select few individuals I socialize with at work, I completely Self-Censor just about everything I say, lest I show dissent to those "in power". And I for one think it's DAMN RIDICULOUS that we should have to do so, on matters that regard legality of actions, documents, and people. In order for this whole thing to work, it's not just the Immigrants that have to go through the process legally, it requires legal follow through of Employers, Land Lords, Bank Officials, Government Employees of USCIS (The new INS), UNION OFFICERS (Hello, wake up here people), and the like. Then we wouldn't have worries like this to speak of and take up tax dollars trying to fight or "Come up with a solution".

Squash the greed and opportunity via illegal activity, and there becomes Huge Dis-incentive to continue operating this way.

By the way, thanks to site Admins and Mods for allowing this thread to continue. I believe this thread is proof positive that people can have a civil discussion on these topics that help educate each other.
