whats going on guys, i ve been getting into night fish for catfish, whats some bait and stuff do you guys use for good luck ?

 

Good times indeed man on the river its hard to go wrong with anykind of good cutbait...or meat in general. But i have to say my biggest cats at night or anytime would be whole or cut carp... bash him up a little to get the scent going and hold on....

 

Chicken livers and cut up shad always do the trick!

 

And Busch Light . . . or whatever you prefer.

 

lol, i will try some of these ideas, i also been using 2/0 hooks and 3/4 catfish rigs.

is 2/0 too big or too small for cats, i been wanting to catch some big cats.. seems when using cut bait alligator gar always seem to strip my bait ! !

also what kinda line you use ? i tried spider wire and seems to thin out after a while , im trying out power pro ad seems to work well and hold up a lil better
