Dude, we have one of these in our hangar at school. Story goes, it is the first flight test one being delivered to edwards. The pilots flew it through icing and fucked both engines up. They replaced them and it should be doing a close pattern tomorrow.

Unless im mistaken thats nothing more than a prop, "awaiting pedistal insertion" we got them all over langley use to be real now there all for show. And talk about a dirty jet, that gun leaves black streaks up the entire side of the jet, even dirties up the motors, they used to shovle in peanut shells to clean it up, but some epa guys freaked out cause they just got washed away. And to make that thing more bad *** the entire cockpit is lined with titanium.

they painted the canopy all black, so you cant see in. they built 3 of the 2 seaters. one actually flew but it crashed, now the last have been somehwhat gutted.

well anyway, theyre not to bad. what sucks is having to do a water wash on the engine when it gets so dirty. but its funny seeing bubbles coming out the tailpipe of a "killing machine".
