I got a hero3 last friday. Haven't had a chance to use it yet but im suppose to be able to control it off my phone.

yea the black edition has a mobile app and wifi remote to control it with.

I am going to upgrade from No Pro to a hero HD . Just picked up a banging *** kit for literally nothing. The 720p will work just fine for me, but it is really nice the features that are offered on the 3..

Interesting I've used my hd hero 2 only couple times since I got it in febuary, just might look into this what did it end up costn

By the time you add up what extras you would need I think 600 would be a safe number to assume.
