Default Any one with a Chevy Equinox?

Any one with the Chevy Equinox had a/c problems? My wife just had to have this stupid car and ever since we got it a few years ago the a/c has sucked ***.. I have the freon checked and it was full. When you come to a stop it blows hot air. After doing some internet reading, it sounds its just a downfall of these piece of **** cars. People have all a/c parts replaced and still blows hot air. One thing I have noticed is that when the fans are on it seems like they are on low and not high. Thought about just bypassing the computer and wiring the fans up to two relays and try to keep them on high all the time..

Anybody else have any suggestions??

What year?

Some of the earlier ones had problems with the evaporators freezing, due to the expansion valve temp sensor not reading right.

There is also an updated program for this same problem, but it just depends on the year.

My gf has an 11, I will have to check next time we are in it. Last time I drove it, there was nothing to complain about other than the obvious torque management. Man it is horrible.

Pretty sure 05 was the year with the temp sensor problems. The sensor wasn't contacting the TXV right and getting a false reading.

08 inline 6 cylinder TB . . . has the digital A/C

The outside temp sensor goes out about once a year, and when that happens, it's blowing hot air no matter what
