I had the LCP, it was ok and small, but it hurt to shoot and 380 ammo is nearly impossible to find.
I sold the LCP and went with the LCR

im also looking at the LCP as a CARRY WEAPON. in my crib when i dont have to lug it around i keep a big boy gun. the lcp is comfortable and easily conceilable.
The LCR is more accurate also. i can nail a 30" tv at 75yds no problem

Don't forget to check out the Kahr's. They are good guns for the price and very subcompact!
the kahr is also a possibility. i just havent had one in my hand yet.

I am not a fan of the 380 either, I have not looked at balistics, but I do believe a 38 spcl has quite a bit more power than a 380, the shell is about 5 times as large as a little 380.
