Well put and wholeheartedly agree. I'm not too fond of big government and big taxes (that get wasted by big bureaucracy) and this guy seems to want the biggest of both. I dread the day this man becomes President, because I think he will, with the only consolation being if he chooses our b*tch governor here in Kansas as his running mate and gets her out of our state before the end of her term.

Im posting from my mogul so ill make this short and sweet. I don't like because of his ties and up bri.ing, I don't like him because he is inexperienced and imo doesn't see the whole picture when it comes to his policies, no one is going to tell me to learn a language, we need nukes to deter other nations he wants to get rid of most, socialized health care is just healthcare for the lazy and it costs my pocket book which is bull ****, he has NOT distanced himself from the reverend who is crazy, if immediately condemned him and broke all ties it would be different but he has NOT, he wants to talk to known terrorist states face to face do you have any idea hbow much that will cost in security not to mention open up us as an even bigger target to inernational terrorists since they know we will talk to them if they get our attention, his energy policy are laughable at best does he really think we are going to cut our petroleum dependancy by 40% by 2017, no nuke plants he says yet they are one of the safest ways to produce electricity europe has them everywhere and there is no energy crisis over there, I could go on but my thumbs hurt from using the small keyboard. ill check back in tomorrow.

Actually those are all GREAT points and I agree with 90% of them!
A few of the reasons you mentioned are reasons that I too share. I was saying I didn't buy into that video which I primarily thought of as propaganda.

Well **** Cody, why didn't you just say that in the first place?

Those silly videos people post are just meant for those "undecided" voters which we know are all basically morons. If you haven't decided who you are going to vote for already, you shouldn't be allowed to vote. Those videos are for the morons who are too uneducated to vote based on political views so instead they vote on which candidate's personality they like(not that that can't be a deciding factor, but it shouldn't be the main factor)

I really think there should be a vote of NO Confidence on a ballot. That would at least send a message to our goverment how disatisfied we are in our choices for president. A pre-election vote at least 6-8 months before the actual election may help steer it better as well.
I just think that with the way our system works its too easy to lose sight of who candidates really are and what their capabilities as president will be.
We never really know them until its too late and they are in or have lost an election. It is the best system going maybe but we have some real holes in the progression to office. It seems that the promises start flying and they change their core statements to suit whoever they feel they need at that moment to sway votes. Not to mention the influence of big money contributed to the campaign.
I don't have a real solution but who does?? It's been rolling like this for so long I'm not even sure it can be fixed without scrapping the whole election system and starting fresh.
Anyone know what's out there being suggested for campaign reform??

Spoolin, I didn't mean to sound like I was making a personal attack on you. I wanted to promote a good thought provoking thread, I guess I just get a bit passionate when people don't agree with m since im always right As far as the videos go I think it does show some worthwhile stuff you just have know how to sift through bs like the 9/11 crap that would have you believe he caused it lol. hopefully the people that are going to vote are smart enough to sift through crap unfortunately a lot of people aren't TG im not awarfe of anything we can do, it sucks because I agree with you, the electoral vote stuff is stupid it nees to be off the popular vote IMO.

ps these qwerty keyboards such

You know...if this thread was on the tech side rather than on here where people seem to have level heads or at least not as much of an ego (maybe it's because we drive trucks ) there would be insults and threats, people hollering and screaming and calling each other names, thread would be WAAAAYYYY off topic and ban's and warning would be handed out and threads locked!

This is a reply from a debate I had concerning GM's financial losses in the 1st quarter of this year...

This site rocks!!
Good points everybody! Hopefully we'll all be intelligent voters rather than just lemmings being pushed into the voting booth by the wealthy and corrupt.
