I'm not going to get involved in a heated political debate but something said above touched a nerve with me so i will say this:

It is our duty as the most powerful country in the world to get involved and protect the underprivileged.

Because we were a "neutral" nation in the past and avoided getting involved in world conflicts 12,000,000 civilians were massacred and many more died fighting when it was almost too late.

By standing idly by as dictators get more powerful and amass huge militarily serves no personal or collective good. History has repeated over and over again.

Rant over, that is all.

I think its totally fine to suggest everyone learn spanish because lets face it we need to but to talk down upon no bilinguals and TELL everyone to learn spanish sounds way too much like a dictator to me.

I for one cannot wait for the BS to play out before the election. The soap opera on this election wil be second to none. The day he and his campaign rip into McCain the war hero will be great, the **** will be hitting the fan.
I really don't care for either as far as putting them into office of the president so I won't be voting for the lesser of two evils agin this time around.

Can McCain lead this country?? Probably. Since the president doesnt do everything himself it's not really an issue of who is in office but I was really hoping that for this election we would have gotten at least one candidate that was unmisatkeably capable of taking us back to where we need to be as a country. I love this land, my brothers have served it in the military and one still is but I am very unsure of where this next 4-5 years will be taking us. I am so glad my brother will be retiring from the military soon!!!

I hope god is watching out for the USA and the rest of the world.
