**** AMERICAN AIRLINES

I got a call this morning telling me they cancelled my early morning flight to North Carolina, the ONLY one that would arrive in time for my friend to pick me up from the airport before school, so I can help him pack and move back to Texas over the weekend. OH but there is good news, they scheduled me for another flight 5 HOURS LATER which does me absolutely no good because now I'm going to have to either sit at the airport until he gets out of school at 7:30 (my flight arrives at 3 now instead of 1030) or find a ride.

Anyone live out near Charlotte, NC?

Nope, they just re-booked me to the later one, and called me at 4:30 AM and left me a voicemail saying it was cancelled.

i'd call them and raise hell about it and if they dont give you some refund tell them you want a full refund so you can fly another airline, and make sure you talk to the highest ranking american airlines representative possible. i hate airlines, id drive anywhere over flying

there are 2 great bars in nc airport...
one is carolina blonde.... there is a good lookin lil blonde bartender....
i use to fly thru there twice a week
the other is cw's i believe.....
the airport is small... not much to do.....
