That is crazy. That part about a hemi not being able to drive the supercharger... Is there anymore info on that? I can't comprehend them being so much of a drag. I'd love to see the specs on them!

 

Nothing like a nitro-burning top fuel dragster or funny car...I hung out with Terry Haddock at the SuperNationals a few years ago and he had one of each there. When he fired one of the engines up, the exhaust was so extreme that it was like tear gas...I had to run for cover to catch my breath! It was awesome! I now have a t-shirt with the formula for nitro-methane on it in case I ever want to make some in my basement Sure as hell can't afford to buy it!
