Good stuff man, I have the 7.2v cordless driver also (actually I have two of them, the original one at work, and a green one with the torque limiter at home), and have borrowed the 18v impact many times...my SnapOn account is up over $900 also, but when I get it down to $500 I'm getting the 18v impact I've used many different cordless 1/2" impact guns and the SnapOn one blows them all away. I have a DeWalt 18v 1/2" impact gun that was about $300, and I still have to break lug nuts loose by hand. If I had the bucks I'd like to get the SnapOn gun in time for me to swap my trans, but the trans should be payed off before the SnapOn acct is where I want it to be

OH my mistake. I was reading it as an extra battery for the impact.

I couldn't justifying dropping that much $$$ on an impact.
