Can you believe they gave him a ticket? what is the world coming to?
Everhart was given a ticket for failing to secure his camp site, said Ken Riddleberger, a region supervisor for game management with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources

a list of things marines can handle:
pickpockets/robers - check
bobcats - check (from the link on tech)
bears - check
war - check
women - negative: "I wouldn't want my wife to give me hell for lettin' that guy get my money," he (72 year old marine that took the robber) said with a smile.

That story in Plantation is right down the street from where I work. I'm a Firefighter/Emt in the state of Florida but I've always had a calling to be in the service since I was young, growing up in a household where your grandfather was a full Colonel USAF served in WW2, Korea and Vietnam and not to mention the countless missions he flew that our family had no idea about until he passed away sorta did that to me I guess lol. Anyways, I've been back and forth to the recruiting offices and had multiple talks with the recruiters and other marines. I love what I do now, but feel like joining up is my real calling. Looks like theres alota marines on here so if I do sign my life away I'll be sure to let you all know and maybe get some pointers. Until then "You light em well fight em"

There are no "former" or "ex" marines. Only living marines and marines that have passed on.
