**** it is scary around here right now.
last year their was enough going off all day long you would think we had a war.
today, nothing, not a pop, bang, boom, or wizz scream.
it is dark and not one rocket has gone off, just silence, maybe a car gos by every
now and then, but this silence is too damn creepy for the 4th.
not even the smell of gun powder is in the air.

 

Not around here. Not at all. And who has worse economy than MI? Some of my neighbors start days in advance. Just little thins early on; but ya, it's in full force since it's dark now.
