Question 4 Banger Clutch

Ok, so the woman's clutch is shot in her car. Its a 99 Ford Focus...yes, I know is a Ford, but its hers. I was wandering how hard it would be do change it out myself. I have NEVER messed with anything Front Wheel Drive, and really wouldn't know what i'm getting into. But i've done plenty of RWD clutches. How involved is it?? Drop the tranny and the motor, or will the tranny come off seperate??

They make a bar that supports the motor and allows you to pull only the transmission. Without the bar on most front drivers, you have to pull both the eng/trans out and pop them part.

Can't say for a ford, but I did a flexplate on a front wheel drive pontiac. I was able to finesse the engine out without removing the trans.
