Ugly! I don't understand why car companys insist on the oversized grille look for their full size trucks, especially since the "chrome" is plastic.

Who wants to get an over/under on how long it'll be before people start saying "it's growing on me"...

Seems every body style change, and this looks like just a concept (I'm too lazy at the moment to read the article) for now, everyone hates it at first then people start liking it. I'll give it my go ahead for the change. It definately looks... aggressive and different.

If GM starts putting 427s in half tons I'll just have to break down and buy one. No sense in driving around this mushy turd any longer if that's the case. If ANY vehicle in the GM lineup needs the torque and throttle response of a 427, it sure isn't a wimpy corvette, it's the 5000+lb truck.

For what it's worth, these aren't even concept drawing, just an educated guess by one of the top auto illustrators out there.

"we asked renowned automotive illustrator Mark Stehrenberger to take a stab at what these trucks could look like when they debut around 2013."

Basically, this guy just guessed at what he thought they may look like.
