I think its possible, but if 7900 is what you need to get 158MPH then you might have a calibration issue! As for the "trucks can't handle 150MPH" the fastest truck in the world is running 220MPH

Anyway the run was in 4th with the TC unlocked. The tranny has started whining too. I may have messed some stuff up in there with the heat it was making keeping my foot in it so long unlocked. Tranny temp was around 240* when i looked at it. It cooled down to 200* within a mile of letting off and getting to lock up. I think the damage is done though.
I really wanted to get an LQ9 to build before i needed a tranny, but that may not happen.

I really wanted to get an LQ9 to build before i needed a tranny, but that may not happen.I feel you on the tranny part...First and second are fine.I didn't want to post up about it because of all the haters on here that didn't think the top speed could be done but I will be starting on mine tonight taking it out because of it slipping in 3rd and OD now for the past 5 days
. I think I fried the band and the 3-4 clutch pack so I will be starting on a rebuild this weekend. 
And she was holding together too even after all the abuse I've given her after 82,000 miles since the first rebuild...Oh, well time to build her even stronger I guess...Zed
