I hear ya. Everything I have done on this truck has taken way more cutting and welding than the instructions say. Headers and so-called bolt on exhaust... my ***.

My exhaust took 30 minutes to install, with the truck on jack stands,

I bought a Magnaflow bolt on exhaust but the rear drivers side tail section was right over the differential and had to be cut and routed around it. Probably wouldn't have that problem if I didn't lower it 6" in the rear.

I've bought bolt on systems that didn't fit quite right before. STOCK fits GREAT!!!

stock exhuast sounds like an old man truck

This truck does not sound like a ls motor though... it sounds so mean and I love it... its just going to cause me to go crazy

I know this is insane but I had the OBX headers on an off 3 times and I just got done today putting the Pacesetters on. I am DONE with this f'ing exhaust. It's on now and staying on.

Yep, fabbed my own custom dual exhaust. It was a PITA. Looks like crap but works. Going to re-do it someday.
