First off, i wouldn't be here if it weren't for you guys,
everyone who nominated me, and helped me along my "journey"
,
you are very much appreciated.
I got my truck right before my 16th birthday, and couldn't wait to drive it. She was completely stock.

I got my truck right before my 16th birthday, and couldn't wait to drive it. She was completely stock.

After i joined a few forums and started asking questions it went all down hill from there.
I debadged everything, dropped the rear, and painted a few things.
After all that i couldn't stand the rake and was itching for some new wheels. I lowered it a little more, got new wheels, and had some color-matching done to the exterior, along with the shaved rear.

I started with a tune and then got interested in anything to help me go faster.
After talking with Rick and looking at my budget i decided to get some hot pipes from him and "put together" a front mount.

After a few weeks of ordering all the parts i needed, My Dad and I installed the kit on my 4.8l.

We kept it at 6# and got 397rwhp, and 406tq. I put in a Posi-Trac and 3.73's shortly after. After that my transmission went south, so a local builder gave me a good deal and i put in a built 4L60E.

I decided to forget my ideas about a hood and other little parts for the exterior, and went with the engine swap. We put in a '05 LQ4, LS6 cam and springs, and put the 3500 stall back in.

I took it to the track, and with my luck, there was a terrible crosswind. But by the end of the Night i managed to pull off a 12.03 at 112.71mph.
Since then I have installed Water/Meth and will soon be installing CalTracs. Hopefully the next time the weather is in my favor, and i can get into the 11's.

Once again, a big thanks to everyone. You have helped me blow my money wisely.
