this thing has more sensors than it knows what to do with..... crank sens, cam sens. and on and on and on.... even the coolant temp sensor will affect the way it runs.... first thing i would check is grounds

My 05 Cobalt SS/SC did the EXACT same thing on more than one occasion 
. Had it checked out three times by three different dealerships and they couldn’t figure the problem out (figures).
Hence the reason I am driving a Silverado now lol. Anyway, I’d be interested to know if you find out what the problem is…seems it’s been happening to a lot of newer GM vehicles. I know a couple of other Cobalt SS/SC people have been having these issues...
