she has a dodge nitro now.... pretty nice but hell, for a 3.7l v6 it gets 15mpg at best. if the TBSS got that i would be tickled pink...
I fit fine in my RCSB, it's the layout that messed me up for some reason, it just wasn't comfortable. Hell, I drove an S10 RSCB for 3 years, I can fit in small stuff, the TBs just aren't comfortable for some reason, I'm just saying definitely drive it before you get one.

drive one with a sun roof and then one with out . . .

They hold up great in wrecks,
The first was an 04 LT, no sun roof, and I perfered taking it out on road trips vs my 02. I got 16-18 city, and 22 freeway. This is the I6, not the V8.
The 08 LT has the sun and sound package. With the sun roof there's less head room, and the sound package isn't all that great to pay extra for. I didn't care for all the extra options that it has, but it's what she wanted.

- Great handling
- Precise steering
- Nice power
- Sunroof!!
- Decent room in back, especially with back seats folded down.
- Comfortable interior(might be a little tight for big people)
- Heated seats

Dislikes

- Gas mileage(14-16 highway, don't do enough city to say)
- 4L70E transmission
- Steering wheel controls are a little outdated.(My '07 pickup has nicer setup)
- No auto start option
- Cup holders in front of shifter(Don't put it in park with a metal coffee mug in those front spots!!) lol

Overall, I really love mine. It's the nicest all around vehicle I've ever owned.
Pretty much perfectly said

Oh -- city mileage in the same model is 16 for me lead foot.

The seats also feel strangely canted to me -- doesn't feel "straight" to the front of the car.

This beef of mine was acknowledge by the dealer where I bought my car, and they paid a seat fabricator ~4 hours of labor to get the seats aligned properly. Prior to that, I could only drive the TBSS for 15-20 minutes before I had to get a massage and/or go to a chiropractor.
