they make the trans run a little warmer causing more heat to run thru the trans, making the life of the trans a little shorter since its a little harder on the trans. unless you get on the throttle everytime you will be fine. it will shorten the life of your trans a bit but you can buy trans coolers tho to help keep the temp down which arent expensive considering your helping keep the temp down in your trans. you will still be able to tow if you tow anything with a 2800 stall. i just got a circle d 3000-3200 stall and was considering doing the i-6 converter but wanted a little more
