Ok I have a friend with an 08 tbss that he is wanting to swap out the ls2 with 56K for ah, i think he said 418 stroker with ms4 cam and 1 7/8 lts, fast 102 intake/ tb. Its a 2wd and I think his tc is a tci streetfighter 3200 stall I think, he wasnt sure he just bought the damn part. What type of HP is gonna make?

What heads?

 

243 heads p&p by a local guy dont know any specs on them.

 

They're heavy but even the 2WDs will hook like a MF at the track with the right tires. Rear end is damn near bulletproof. I put over 70 thousand miles on the one I bought new in 07 and didn't have any issues with it.

 

Should put down 460-500. The cam and heads are where its at. Mildly ported 243s aren't going to do a whole lot for a 418. Move up to some L92s and see some real flow.

 

Thats cool, but he just told me that hes not gonna do the swap anymore. To bad it wouldve been one bad TBSS.
