Default Slp Duals Do Not Buy It Guys

the rear pipes are so close to the bags its not funny and on a lowered tbss it touches pretty much. if you try to align the pipes to get away from the bag the the tips are off.

I know a guy from another forum who just had this setup installed on his TBSS last week. His looks real nice, even from underneath and the tips are dead center of the exit holes in the new rear valance and it sounds real sweet.

This kit is a hit or miss. like i said i installed one in and was way off. and others have a problem also.

i would buy the kit once these first batch probs are worked out. on top of that they said its for a stock height vehicle i think they should put some info out that on a lowered height truck it will touch the air bag because many guys have lowered tbss trucks.

if they want to talk to me they can email me because i told them this 2 weeks ago and i was told "its made for stock trucks sorry and you are doing the install wrong the pipes will clear fine we never had a fitment prob with this kit" and now that others are having probs they want to talk to me no thanks ill pass.

if i was the only person that noticed this then yah i could see oh yah norcal you installed it wrong but im not. Im done with slp and maybe they should have waited to get the rear valance issue worked out because that is way off also. and im not the only one that had that problem.

The reading is getting better in the thread that I posted above. Some info from one of today's posts -

SLP Wrote -
To let you all know, with the included photos, is that this system was designed with a TBSS truck on the jounce. That means lower then you could lower your truck and drive it safely.

Apparently the exhaust shop that he took his truck too had a slightly off day, we all have them no big deal.

When installing any exhaust system. Work your way from front to back. Only snugging as you go. Then go back to the front again as you check clearances and alignment and tighten from front to back. NEVER go from back to front. Just some friendly advise for the DIYs.

Below are photos of POS SS's truck with over 2.5" of clearance around the airbag AT RIDE HEIGHT LOWERED.

Please know that ALL SLP products go through a process before they are released for sale making sure that we catch all combinations possible one being a lowered vehicle.
