Alright, so motor isn't making any weird noises, I figure for right now I would get the DoD disabled by tune, and later on in life, delete it with a cam upgrade.
For now, with a completely stock vehicle, who has the best mail order tune for a stock 5.3 Envoy? I used Frost for my bolt on Sierra and was happy with the results.
It's the wife's daily, I don't really foresee a ton of mods in it's life. Been reading up a bit on efans as I was kinda shocked the first time I opened the hood and still saw a mechanical fan in there haha
Whats the CAI story for these? Is it like the full size trucks, stock box with MIT, or does Airaid even offer just a tube for these? Just wondering if that is one thing to try to locate before I ship the PCM out.
Other alternative I guess is I get a license for the EFI Live sitting on the shelf, but realistically all I would accomplish there is shutting off the DoD, anyone have a noticeable difference with a mail tune on their stock Envoy?
