Prevents oiling issues under hard acceleration. As mentioned the other site will answer any questions.

1st- Efans and tune
2nd- Built trans (rmp or flt) ive gone thru two 70's with little effort
3rd- Headers (1 3/4 n/a, 1 7/8 FI)
4th- depends on wether you want FI or HCI

Good advice^^ but I would do a converter(stall) and tranny cooler when you build the tranny. If n/a get a 3600 converter , if nitrous 3200 -3600 .Also I would go ahead and do 1 7/8 headers from the get go . Dyno tests show no loss of low end power with 1/7/8 versus 1 3/4. Also do a good CAI. If you plan on heads and cam later go ahead and get the 4in fenderwell from PCM 4 Less . It is overkill for a bolt on truck but will save you $$ in the long run. I have an FLT level 6 w/ Circle D 3600 3C and couldn't be happier.

Trying to read this seriously hurt my head...

OP get a custom tune, it's amazing what a good tune can do with a few supporting mods. LT's and a stall after that if you are wanting more.

I dont wanna name drop and get in trouble but post #24 (Killer5.3) listed a company that does superb work. They are known for tuning TB's and nearly all of the guys on TBSS owners have at least one of their products. I am using their trans cooler and have had no problems (KNOCK ON WOOD). Before that I blew 2 transmissions.

The two fastest cam only tbss's use their 4" Fender Well intake if that says anything.
