Thanks for the kind words on the engine. The new combo just went 12.55 @ 107mph on a 100 shot and we still have a ways to go with the tune. By next weekend we should be making some 11 second passes. Heres whats done to the truck;
Forged shortblock
Mahle Pistons, flat tops with -1cc reliefs
K-1 racing 4340 H-beam conn rods
Mahle rings
Clevite bearings
232/242 .600"/.600" 114 LSA camshaft (way to big for current mods, but it should work out good down the road in a few months)
Yank SS3600 converter
Tuning

The heads are stock, nothing done to them. This truck still doesn't even have a cold air intake on it. Still has the factory air box and filter. So we hope to install the CAI by next weekend and work on the tune some more.
LMAO with those ET's only one looking bad is well you know!! Glad to hear your company can build a LS2 with a 100HP shot to go 12.50's. Anyway as I said before hope your combo stays together.

What I find humorous is that all of this is supposedly written by someone whose profession is 'stripper.'

Wow, first off you guys need to read a little better. APE and Stripper Motorsports, are not the same or even had anythin to do with one another. So as far as ripping people off, not sure where you get that from.

As for my truck, what should it run? Only mods I have that make power are the cam, and tuning?? The Yank helps the ET, I don't think that the forged pistons or the rods make any power do they?? My truck doesn't have ported heads or even a CAI. Still runs the stock exhaust and manifolds, minus the stock muffler. Still has cats on it. So really how fast should it be on motor and then on a 100 shot?

The fastest TBSS on here is what 12.18 or so that anyone can prove, right? I know someone said another truck supposedly went 11.xx. What is the fastest one right now? What's it got done to it?

Well when most people have an engine built, its gets balanced at the same time.. Balancing and blueprinting an engine can pick up at least another 40-50hp, not to mention taking away alot of drag on the top end rpm band.. You assembly is also lighter weight than stock, some more bonus.. With your weight and ET you posted, you are roughly putting down 400-420 at the wheels.. A 100 shot alone should do that.. Sounds like you definately have some tuning issues... Whats your AFR and timing at?

AFR = 12.5:1

Timing @wot is 26 degrees

The engine assembly is a little heavier than stock due to the rods that we went with. I have never heard that balancing and blueprinting a engine can give you up to 50hp. That would be a lot, how sure are you on that?
So normally on this AWD trucks, stock with a 100 shot will equal mid 12's? How come then there isn't a bunch of these trucks running in the 11's?

What do you expect your truck to run with all of the mods you have done? Looks like you have heads, cam, CAI, headers and a converter, right?? Do you still have cats on the TB with the headers? If so are they high flows?

We actually prove it time after time... We recently did a forged shortblock in a Silverado with an STS , and running 2 psi less boost, it picked up an average of 36 hp over the entire band and 45 tq. You have to realize that GM just grabs these parts and throws them into an engine without double checking all the clearances- their thought on it is if the first batch of motors is good, the next 10 will be good.. When you B&B an engine, you open up oil clearances, tighten ring gaps, reduce friction, etc, etc... So thats where the extra HP comes in..
On mine, we're having serious tuning issues.. We're running out of fuel above 5000 rpms, but we were still able to make some good power up to that point.. Im still running through the stock cats because I was an idiot and didnt order SW's high flows, so I have a hacked up Y-pipe for now.. On the dyno we ran it through open headers..
i want to say its TonyGXP thats running 12.1's with a 100 shot and converter, not sure though.. My best was a 12.9@106 on the stock tires, I have now doubt if I bolted up some slicks, I could have gone 12.6 or 12.5
If your AFR is 12.5:1 on spray, thats cutting a little lean. we;re sticking to around 11.3-11.5:1 at the most..
