Default Just bought a TBSS

I just bought a 2008 TBSS with 54k miles (first performance vehicle). I live in South Florida i plan on changing the oil soon and making it a 0w-40 weight and running an extra quart until i can change oil setup. At that mileage and age would you guys recommend plugs, wires, trans service, dif service, coolant service? or any advice to keep this thing purring and pristine for future mods or years of use? Also what brands of oil, filters coolant do you guys suggest.

ty guys for the advice so you used the pick up tube relocation with the stock pan no baffle installed? i was thinking of modding something similar diy because funds are limited but i have access to tig welder and pipe. But i wonder what is the overall best setup is it the new pan and external filter? or does the tube relocation work just as well?

yes, i did the relocated pickup tube.

My truck is AWD so i didnt have many options. on a 2wd the C6 pan is the best route to go.

I think I recognize your username from S10F. Aren't you the guy who did the T56 swap into a 1st gen blazer? Only fitting that you're in a TBSS these days. I had a 97 Aero briefly, but it just wasn't practical (MPG) for my uses.

Congrats on the TBSS, do all the fluids , then the oil pickup tube or baffle in the stock pan, then I would get ready for transmission upgrades , to start with servo's. After that to each his own. I use Mobile 1 oil and K&N filters. GM coolant. Good luck !
