When I first got mine it was running 15.4. So it is common for them to be that slow stock. I have since put a CAI, underdrive pulley, tune and cats removed with magnaflow exhaust. I have efans just don't have them installed yet. I live in Michigan so it's winter and can't get a more current track time yet.

Since i bought it i have been running 93 octane. but the dealer that i bought it from said they had been using 87 octane. so the computer might have adjusted to the 87. how long does it take to readjust back to the better gas that i have been using?

Weather can really hurt the HP on these trucks...Also how long did you wait before you made your run after you got there???
I raced a guy that ran a best of 13.9 when i was just tuned only and i beat him by a half a truck...Most of the awd's are .2-.5 slower than the 2wd's..Get it tuned and it'll be like driving a different truck

I would start out with an electric fan conversion, RPS air filter, and a tune; that would put you deep in the 13's. PM me and I can suggest some local guys who can help you out.
After that, a Circle-D torque converter (along with a transmission cooler) would be a great choice if you are looking to run even faster; Chris is a sponsor here, and his products are excellent!
