Default Coilovers for the TBSS are coming.. yes!!!

after dealing with customs and all that (WHICH ADDED $$$ TO THE cost) my coilovers for my trailblazer ss shipped from japan. this will be a fully adjustable set up that will fit trailblazer ss's and other traillblazer/envoys. they said not to use it with the djm strut mount cause it will lower the truck to much but since i have the upper a arm alignment will be fine and i can get a 4 inch drop in the front if needed. ill see if i can use the djm lower mount and ill get back to you guys on that one.

they use them on many of their tbss out there and they do suspension set ups for the subaru sti wrx and evos which ive drove with their coilover kits and it handles great

heres some specs on it

Spring rate-14kg/200

■ Mono-tube design. This maximizes the working portion of the shock to yield super damping force characteristics.
■ Nitrogen charged to reduce foaming and aeration under even the most extreme conditions.
■ Each shock is designed to for each application for optimum performance. One-size-fits all is not part of our dictionary.
■ Attached to the vehicle using custom designed polyurethane bushings for higher performance and longer life.
■ Electrostaticly painted and also use a special coating in key areas to reduce the chance of corrosion.
■ Topped off with the highest quality cold-wound chrome silicon steel coil springs.
■ Height adjustable (with threaded shell cases)
■ Shortened bodies for more travel
■15 way adjustable compression and rebound damping

ill be looking forward to doing a install and giving you guys feedback on this. They also said that if you are not running the djm upper a arm set up you can get a 2.5 inch drop and still align it fine. And like i said this will fit a 2wd and awd tbss.

they are kbee from japan and $$$ is well worth the price i undermested the yen and price will be about $820 dollars includes customs tax and shipping etc which sucks.

im working out a deal with them since i can get one of my buddys from fedex to hook up a cheaper shipping charage. If i see that others are interested ill get a deal going for us threw my business which will save us a nice chunk off the total price.

here is the breakdown for the shocks shipping this first one
60000 yen converted to american is about 516 dollars
Shipping from japan to san francisco with insurance and customs tax and what other bs fees 300 dollars.

if anyone is instrested i can get them one now for that price but if you guys want to wait im sure i can work out a deal with them.
