I went to Posi Quiet Ceramic Pads and I am very happy with them:

Virtually no dust, good stopping power, and fade resistance.

I just put some of those on with new delco rotors. they were a little weak stopping at first (normal), but after a day or so to break in they are awesome. time will tell how they dirty up the wheels.
