Default 4l65?

Would the 4x4 FLT lvl 5 4l65 outa my truck work in the awd TBSS? Where there any updates to the 4l70 either electronically or physically that made it different from the 4l60/4l65's?

the 70e added a second speed sensor to the transmission. You'd need the 65e modified with the added sensor before it would work in the TBSS.
