how much $$$ you looking to spend?? if i had the $$ to do over id go-built trans/stall/trans cooler/tune.you'll be really happy with that for starters.then id do
cai/efan/headers/rear upper control arms/slick's/retune-that should put you in the 12's with grip and good weather.

 

im actually looking for 550+ hp. Not to worried about price because this isnt something i plan on getting done overnight. What are good brands for the tbss performance wise

 

550 at the wheels?either way id start with a built trans the most used by the tbss guys is FLT and RPM.
honestly since your close to dallas id hit ADM performance up.andy has built some of the fastest trucks in tx.there's a 441ci Ls7 long block that's forsale rite now for 8k.

And you should be in the mid to low 13's

the just add cam and a stall and u will be in the mid to low 12's

a buddy of mine had just that cam,headers,stall,cai,and tune and he has a little over 400 To the wheels
