yea im a newbie, still learning to site and where to post stuff. sorry. , 02 2wd scsb sierra. not sure on the drop , bought it with it already lowered. right now i'm runnin 275/40/20's, but they scrub anytime i hit a bump. , im gona get some stockers for the drag strip to help with weight and was gona run some low tires for now till i can save up for some slicks.

you must be extremely low if 275/40/20s rub. That is roughly a 29" tire which is what I run. I have a 4/7 drop with a 29" tire and I have no rubbing issues.

My guess would be that you're running a rims that won't tuck(basically the offset of the rims is too low).

You should be plenty fine with a 29" tire on a stock rim.

Post pics of your truck though.
