Default sway bar lowering kit?

I was looking on the skyjacker website for my 2000 silverado and I came across a sway bar lowering kit that says it will add 4-6 inches of front lift?
has anyone tried this or something like it? would it be like cranking too much and put a strain on the front end?

p.s. does anyone know the stock wheel width? isn't it like 16x8?

Stock 1/2 ton wheels 16x7, 17x7.5
Stock HD wheels 16x6.5
SS, VHO, etc. 20" wheels 20x8.5"

To be sure, check the sticker on your DS doorjamb...it lists stock tire.wheel size
